Introduction

KWV Brandy is one of South Africa’s most iconic heritage brands, recognised for its exceptional craftsmanship, rich history, and commitment to producing world class brandy. Built on generations of expertise, the brand represents authenticity, quality, and a legacy that continues to shape South African spirits.

The objective of this project was to create a premium social media presence that honours KWV’s heritage while connecting with modern audiences through refined and engaging visual storytelling.

Our role was to develop a cohesive creative system that reflects the sophistication of the brand, reinforces its premium positioning, and creates compelling digital experiences across social media platforms.

The Challenge

Luxury heritage brands must remain relevant without losing the authenticity that defines them. The challenge was to create contemporary social media content that respected KWV’s legacy while appealing to a new generation of consumers.

Every visual needed to communicate craftsmanship, quality, and refinement while maintaining consistency across promotional campaigns, brand storytelling, product features, and seasonal marketing initiatives.

The Creative System

The visual system combines refined typography, premium imagery, elegant layouts, and a rich colour palette inspired by the depth and character of the brand. Every design was created to communicate sophistication while allowing the product to remain the hero of every composition.
